Erika Lee Houle is a writer, editor, cook, and collector of orange tabby paraphernalia. She lives in Los Angeles, CA, where she recently graduated from the culinary arts program at the Institute of Culinary Education and spent five months working at Hollywood’s two-Michelin-starred restaurant, Providence. Her work has appeared online and in print at LA Times Image, W Magazine, Editorial Magazine, Elle Canada, The Bittman Project, and more. She’s currently the managing editor of the skateboarding and photography publication, 2001 and open to freelance assignments covering art, culture, fashion, food, sports, and more. Formerly, she was a senior editor at SSENSE. Her interests and obsessions include recipe development, spending time with her pets, and stringing together beads that resemble hard candy (see: treatwire, her one-of-a-kind collection of conceptual jewelry).

She’s also always eager to hear about work related to all the above and beyond—pen pals, please write her!
